We show you our self watering container set up, that runs our 11 planters with one mini float valve. This self watering bucket utilizes the wicking bed principles that uses rags that run all thru the soil and down into the water reservoir of the sub irrigated planter.  This water in the reservoir is wicked up into the soil to provided the plants in the self-watering container with the moisture they need to thrive and survive.  Many compare this to the earth box planter also known as sips.  The water tanks or the sub-irrigation planter are fed water by means of black poly tubing connecting each self-watering container to the float valve bucket.
